I have recently painted my 1960 Consul (original grey leather and cream vinyl) front and rear seats, door cards, handles and dash with Gliptone leather and Vinyl water based paint, it cost me about 140 and looks really good. You can still see the cracks if you get up close to the seats , but, the paint sinks into the cracks and it just looks like leather should look for that age of car. I can send you before and after pictures if you would like to see them. I was quoted about 750 for Vinyl recovering and 1200 for leather recovering and that did not include for the doorcards. Regards Brian
